Music Videos (Part 1) - Only in the America!!!

I was watching MTV last night and I realised something........ In some American music videos - picture Jagged Edge, 112, R.Kelly, Ginuwine etc, you will notice that the stars in the videos (male, of course) are wearing big ass fur/ mink coats or jackets, hoodies with beanies and scarfs and they are very warm yet the video chick are... wait for it.... not, instead they are wearing bikini tops and mini skirts or very skimpy rags that they would like to call clothes!!!!

Now does that mean that the video chicks are so brave that they can stand the cold weather that the men there cannot? Honestly, how does it work? or is it a different temperature for the guys compared to the chicks? The funny shit about that is that the video chicks look shiny and greased up while the guys are a bit pale or is that the whole make-up plot for the video?

I'm not really sure what goes on around the set of a music video, but I think that sometimes these stylists are just thinking about their own mosquitos when deciding on the wardrobe for the video shoot, the video looks nice in the end for sure but I just can't help wondering why the men are feeling cold and the chicks feeling hot and sweating in the same music video.

If there is some one who can explain it to me in a way that I would actually understand..... PLEASE, Hollar @ Da Diva.
