Love....

Why is it so damn difficult to tell a person that you are really into that you love them... I mean it's a simple I love you!

It's easy to tell a friend, your brother/sister/ parent or some other person you are just using to get laid... the words come out so easily with them but not to the person you are really attracted to - physically, emotionally and in every other way possible!

You'll talk to this person for hours on end on the phone and just as you are about to hang up, you stutter some thing that almost sounds like "I love you" and when asked to repeat what you had just say you give them the "No, it's nothing. I was just saying bye, talk to you later." line!

The killer of that is when you are just a "friend" to the person you are in love with and while you are taking your own time trying to figure out the most simpliest way to say I love you, they are slowly falling in love with some one else and sadly that some one is just not you but you can't really do anything about it because you are not sure how they will take it. They keeping telling you of how much they like the other person, confiding in you with details that you wish were your own.

Don't get me wrong here, it's not that they don't love you, its just that you have been playing the friendship card for so long that they just decided to stop seeing you as a potential lover... but at the same time if you had to take that leap and come clean with your actual feelings towards this person, they'll probably slap you for taking such a long time to upfront with them.

Tip:
Men, just know that as soon as you present yourself as the reliable friend, that is what you are going to be in the eyes of your female friends. If you know that you actually want to be more than the friend she confides in, let her know first before she gets too used to hugging you rather than shagging you. It won't ruin the friendship but perhaps become a good relationship, you'll never know unless you take the plunge.

Practise saying it now: I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU, get it......
