The reason why they still let Thembi Seete embrass hersels on national tv is se-riuo-ss-i-ly beyond me! She is simply too old for what she's doing on Jika Ma Jika and as for her vocab, My Gawd! Her place in the entertainment industry waved bye-bye the second Boom Shaka members tried "persuing" solo careers. Clearly Lebo left with all the talent!
And who the hell decided that her co-presenter had talent? SABC, please! And they still think we'll pay our tv licenses for the crap they dish on our screens!
Some "artists" really cannot sing.... think Siphokazi - ayatlabalasa ( Gawd knows I would have put that in English if I knew how to translate it), Yvonne Chaka Chaka is even worse & and "they" call her a legend - b'coz of that I am now very confused as I no longer understand the meaning of legend! See I have figured what these radio stations do, they keep playing the same songs over and over again trying to convince us that they are good songs when they really aren't, do you have any idea how many "good" artists they are in this country whose music is just put aside because they don't have the proper "connections".
Ok, so who are they sleeping with or who are they paying to get so much airplay??? Even if they pretend to be doing things honestly, some radio DJ's know that they are getting payed under carpet!!! That's is what I've decided and ya'll can't convince me otherwise!
Does Penny Lebyane still calls herself "The Phly one", I once imagined her flying away (literaly) when she wore some feathery outfit @ some event, apparently she is one of the "Best Dressed" celebrities in SA. Which will bring me to my next question what qualifies a person to be a celebrity. SA seems to have a lot of those but we just can't see their role nje in general.

afro baby you shul be a real red carpet celeb, that's if i have anything to do with it. that'a also it i really think the bunch i saw on Ziwaphi (today's one) are all destined for celebrityhood. But patience is a virtue and in South Africa we make careers out of celebrating mediocrity, as long as it's in Prada or Gucci.
